45th Annual
"It's a Gourdgeous World" will be held
at the Darke County
Fairgrounds
|
For
the 2007 Ohio Gourd Show, the Show Committee has selected the theme, Its
a Gourdeous World. Gourds are utilized around our globe as functional
utensils, storage vessels, fishing floats, musical instruments, birdhouses
and decorative art. It is also true that our world is gorgeous
whether viewed from space, or close-up through a microscope. We live
on a planet of miracles. The Ohio Gourd Society invites you to express
your view of our world, or any part of its wonder, through your gourd creation.
Gourds are known world-wide, and seem the appropriate medium to illustrate
that, Its a Gourdeous World.
Welcome
to the 2007 Ohio Gourd Show. The show will be staged in the Coliseum
(exhibits and vendors) and Youth Building (workshops, meals, Sunday Worship)
on the Darke County Fairgrounds, located near the intersection of State
Routes 121 and 49 in southwest Greenville, OH. The show is open to
the public with an entrance fee of $2.00 per person. Ohio Gourd Society
members are admitted free upon presentation of their membership cards.
