Workshops: Fri & Sat 9-5
Food, gourds, gourd art, art and craft supplies, music, and special programs are featured at the Show. Performances and presentations throughout the weekend will highlight the wizarding world of gourds, gourd art, and gourd music.

Rum River Blend, performing on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., is a favorite local group known for their variety of music and entertaining style. The group performs a blend of Traditional Bluegrass, Gospel and Folk music; and the audience is always encouraged to join in for sing-along, play-along fun. Currently based in Troy, Ohio, RRB plays music to have fun. On Sunday, Glenn Parks and his banjo are featured. Glenn entertains from the stage, and also strolls around the Show. Glenn is a past president of the Fretted Instrument Guild of America, and is a member of the Ohio Events and Festivals Association. In 2012, he was inducted into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, OK. His website, www.banjoentertainment.net details his many appearances at county fairs, festivals, churches, retirement and nursing homes and other miscellaneous events.
Gourd workshops are offered on Friday and Saturday. On-site registrations for workshops will be accepted as space permits. A free and open demonstration event will take place on Sunday afternoon in the workshop area.
The Show opens to the general public at Noon on Friday; however, competitive entries will not be complete until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. A brief OGS meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday.
The Saturday dinner (see reservation form) includes presentation of special awards and an auction of gourds, gourd art, and gourd-related supplies.
